The original idea behind having these images commissioned was to use them on the site. We thought that because of the nature of the site it will be really
nice to have some actual artwork use of the graphic elements rather than just photographs. Once we started using the images on the side we found that quite a few people were interested in their origin. We received quite a few e-mails about them and after a period of time we decided that perhaps a nice way to put the stuff out there would be to put them together in a screensaver.
This screensaver was designed to run on any on any computer with a Windows-based operating system. It is extremely easy to install and use. Once you have download the file all you need to do is double click on the file and the installation process will begin automatically. Once installed, you will find this screensaver will come up as an option when you go to your screensaver menu. All you have to do is select it as your default options there. Once you have done so you will find that it activates itself after your default period of time and to be managed in exactly the same way as any other screensaver that came preinstalled on your computer.
One other thing is that when we designed a screensaver we had the widest possible compatibility with any different number of machines in mind. As a result, the screensaver should run on basically all the versions of the Windows operating system in use on most computers. It was also important to us to try to keep the file size small so as to make it an easy download for people who are using a dial-up Internet connection.
