The StudyMinder Homework System has dozens of features for managing homework that are not available in a general purpose software planner:

- Track assignments, tests and quizzes, even large projects
- See all assignments at a glance - by class, day and week
- List assignments by difficulty, estimated time, status, type and more
- Be reminded about upcoming assignments and projects
- Displays the amount of time needed to study for each assignment
- View total study time by assignment, class, day and week
- Calculates current grade point average for each class
- Lets students share assignment instructions with your classmates

The StudyMinder Homework System is especially helpful for managing large projects. The total amount of homework due and the estimated completion time are always shown, so students won't wait until it's too late. As you complete some of the project each day, StudyMinder updates the time remaining. You can record up to 99 study sessions for each assignment.

StudyMinder shows how much time is spent studying for each class, and the grades received for each assignment. With this information, students know where to focus their efforts to improve and maintain their grades. StudyMinder also includes a Task list and Event calendar.
