an email scanning agent that searches email waiting at their ISP, or from any POP3 or IMAP server, applying user-specified rules, like looking for specific text content, or for mail "from" a specific person, or specific words in the "subject", etc. If rules are met, instant rmessages are delivered or other action is taken: parse and forward all/part of the original email; send a file, launch a file or script, 2-way wireless msg & control etc.
